We know that counselors need to order their students’ Advanced Placement (AP) exams by March 27. Knowing the course equivalencies and credits attached to specific AP exam scores may help students decide whether or not to take the exams.
The UW System’s four-year campuses have evaluated how they will award credit and course equivalencies for scores of 3, 4, and 5 on the new AP exams that will be offered for the first time this spring:
AP Physics 1
AP Physics 2
We also asked each campus to re-evaluate AP U.S. History, since there were changes to the course’s structure, expectations, and exam. No campus modified its decision about how to award that class’s course equivalencies and credit.
