While it can’t go on forever, we made some swift moves so that juniors may continue to join through April 30.
Last week, the largest-ever survey of basic needs security among community college students was released by the Wisconsin Hope Lab. Respondents included 33,000 students at 70 community colleges in 24 states throughout the country. The researchers estimate that 33% of students are hungry and 14% are homeless.
