AGRICULTURE, FOOD & NATURAL RESOURCES – Producing, processing, marketing, distributing, financing, managing and developing agricultural commodities and resources. Includes food, lumber, wood products, natural resources, horticulture, and other plant and animal products and resources.
ARCHITECTURE & CONSTRUCTION – Designing, planning, managing, building, and maintaining the built environment. Includes residential and commercial structures, roads, and bridges.
ARTS, A/V TECH & COMMUNICATIONS – Designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing, and publishing multimedia content. Includes visual and performing arts and design, journalism, and entertainment services.
BUSINESS, MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION – Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating functions essential to effective business operation. Includes accounting, human resources, customer service, project management, and administration.
EDUCATION & TRAINING – Planning, managing, and delivering training, learning support, and library services to elementary, secondary, and adult students. Includes instruction and administration at both public and private institutions.
FINANCE – Planning and providing services for financial and investment planning, banking, insurance, and business financial management. Includes tracking expenses and income, and advising managers about hiring and purchasing decisions.
GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION – Planning, managing, and providing services at the federal, state, and local levels. Includes legislative, administrative, regulatory, national security, foreign service, and taxation services.
HEALTH SCIENCE – Planning, managing and providing therapeutic and diagnostic services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development.
HOSPITALITY & TOURISM – Managing, marketing and operating visitor-related businesses. Includes restaurants, concessions, lodgings, attractions, recreation, events, and travel-related services.
HUMAN SERVICES – Helping individuals and families meet their personal needs. Includes mental health, disability, safety resource support, and service allocation.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) – Designing, developing, maintaining, supporting, and managing hardware, software, multimedia, and system integration services.
LAW, PUBLIC SAFETY, CORRECTIONS & SECURITY – Planning, managing and providing legal, public safety, protective, and homeland security services. Includes professional and technical support services.
LIBERAL ARTS, LANGUAGES & HISTORY – Teaching, publishing, researching, editing, translating, and providing leadership in fields of study that pertain to human culture and experience.
MANUFACTURING – Planning, managing and performing the processing of materials into intermediate or final products and related professional and technical support activities such as production planning and control, maintenance and manufacturing, and process engineering.
MARKETING – Planning, managing, researching, and communicating to reach consumers and meet organizational objectives. Includes quantitative and qualitative market analysis, content creation, advertising, media placement, and public relations.
SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATHEMATICS – Planning, managing, testing, researching, and providing technical services in laboratories or the field, including physical science, social science, engineering services.
TRANSPORTATION, DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS – Planning, managing and moving people, materials, and goods by road, pipeline, air, rail, and water. Includes transportation infrastructure planning and management, logistics services, mobile equipment, and facility maintenance.
