Transfer Admission Requirements Spring 2020
Transfer Admission Guidelines
All applications will go through a comprehensive review to determine admissibility.
Minimum GPA Requirements for Admission Consideration to Specific Majors
Transfer applicants who do not meet these GPA requirements may qualify for general admission but will not be considered for the major programs until the minimum GPA requirements are satisfied as stated above.
Contact the admissions office for more detailed information about course sequence, GPA, and other admission requirements.
Credit and Other Requirements for Admission Consideration
Students with a minimum of 12 transferrable credits are considered transfer students using a comprehensive review.
Students with fewer than 12 transferable credits are reviewed for admission using a comprehensive admission evaluation as a new freshman candidate.
Anticipated Application Deadlines/Priority Dates
Accepting applications on a rolling admission basis. Will admit until full.
All admitted transfer students are notified of available registration dates at time of admission.
Admitted transfer students are eligible to register during the same priority registration dates of continuing students.
An enrollment deposit of $100 is required at the time of signing up for a registration program.
Special Note for UW System Transfer Applicants
The UW System undergraduate transfer policy states that priority for admission will be given to two-year branch campuses transfers and other UW System transfers from campuses where a major is not available, subject to the limits of a campus’s enrollment target. All UW System campuses have Guaranteed Transfer agreements with the two-year branch campuses. Students admitted under these agreements should follow the requirements of the agreement. The stipulations of these agreements are not included in this listing.
