Transfer Admission Requirements Spring 2020
TRANSFER ADMISSION GUIDELINES
All applications will go through a comprehensive review to determine admissibility.
MINIMUM GPA REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION CONSIDERATION TO SPECIFIC MAJORS
The following list shows majors and corresponding minimum GPA requirements that exceed the minimum for admission to the campus.
Contact the admissions office for more detailed information about course sequence, GPA, and other admission requirements.
CREDIT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION CONSIDERATION
Applicants must have 12 or more transferable earned credits at an accredited institution to be considered according to transfer policies. Applicants with fewer than 12 credits may be evaluated as new freshmen.
ANTICIPATED APPLICATION DEADLINE OR PRIORITY DATE
Accepting applications on a rolling admission basis.
All transfer students register at the same time as continuing students. Date determined based on the number of earned credits.
Admission requirements and dates may be modified because of changing enrollment demands.
ACT required only for transfers with fewer than 15 credits and less than a 2.0.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR UW SYSTEM TRANSFER APPLICANTS
The UW System undergraduate transfer policy states that priority for admission will be given to two-year branch campuses transfers and other UW System transfers from campuses where a major is not available, subject to the limits of a campus’s enrollment target. All UW System campuses have Guaranteed Transfer agreements with the two-year branch campuses. Students admitted under these agreements should follow the requirements of the agreement. The stipulations of these agreements are not included in this listing.
