Transfer Admission Requirements Spring 2018
Transfer Admission Guidelines
All applicants receive a comprehensive review. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in transferrable coursework is generally required to be considered for admission to the university. Students should also be in good academic standing from the current (or previous) institution attended.
Minimum GPA Requirements for Admission Consideration to Specific Majors
Although students may be admitted to the university with a 2.0 cumulative GPA, higher grade point averages may be necessary for students who wish to enter the School of Education or the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Science.
The following list shows majors and corresponding minimum GPA requirements that exceed the minimum for admission to the campus. The GPA requirements noted below may be for admission to, continuation in, and/or graduation from the program. The GPA’S listed below are required for admission to the majors, NOT for admission to the university.

All UW System campuses have Guaranteed Transfer agreements with the UW Colleges. Students admitted under these agreements should follow the requirements of the agreement. The stipulations of these agreements are not included in this listing.
