Transfer Admission Requirements Fall 2018
Transfer Admission Guidelines
Transfer applications are evaluated through a comprehensive, individualized review process. Academic information considered includes post-secondary records, such as GPA, and may also include high school records, standardized test scores, and/or other relevant information.
A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is recommended for admission. All applications will go through a comprehensive review to determine admissibility.
Transfer applicants suspended from another campus will not be admissible to a UW Colleges campus until the period of suspension elapses.
Contact the Student Services Office at the individual UW Colleges campus for more detailed information about course sequence, GPA, and other admission requirements.
Anticipated Application Deadlines/Priority Dates
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The campuses will admit until full.
Registration dates vary by campus.
Admitted transfer students register with continuing students.
Some UW Colleges campuses require a $100 enrollment deposit. Enrollment deposit policies vary by individual campus.
Admission requirements and dates may be modified because of changing enrollment demands.
Special Note for UW System Transfer Applicants
The UW System undergraduate transfer policy states that priority for admission will be given to UW Colleges transfers and other UW System transfers from campuses where a major is not available, subject to the limits of a campus’s enrollment target. All UW System campuses have Guaranteed Transfer agreements with the UW Colleges. Students admitted under these agreements should follow the requirements of the agreement. The stipulations of these agreements are not included in this listing.
