The UW Colleges Guaranteed Transfer Program

Many students choose to begin their academic study at one of the University of Wisconsin Colleges. The thirteen campuses of the UW Colleges are located throughout the state of Wisconsin and offer coursework at the freshman and sophomore level. Students find many advantages to beginning their studies at one of these campuses. One of the advantages is the Guaranteed Transfer Program. This program allows students to begin their education as a freshman at the UW Colleges and be "guaranteed" admission to another UW System institution as a junior. After fulfilling certain credit and grade point average requirements, students transfer with the same rights and privileges as those who begin their education at the baccalaureate institutions.

The University of Wisconsin Colleges Transfer Information provides detailed information about the Guaranteed Transfer Program and other helpful information regarding transfer.
