Transfer Admission Requirements
University of Wisconsin-River Falls ~ Spring
2010
Minimum GPA and Credit Requirements:/p>
Applications are given a comprehensive review. The academic rigor of the college-level courses taken and cumulative GPA are important indicators of success. The applicant’s high school record may be considered as well. Nonacademic factors will also be considered and may include, but are not limited to, leadership, community service, creativity, unique talents, and personal characteristics that contribute to the strength and diversity of the campus.
Typically, successful applicants will have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Higher academic expectations or earlier application priority dates may be imposed on specific majors if necessary in order to keep enrollment within program capacities.
Except for majors requiring a higher GPA, priority may be given to UW Colleges transfers and Liberal Arts transfers from Madison Area Technical College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Nicolet Area Technical College, Western Technical College, and Chippewa Valley Technical College.
