Transfer Admission Requirements

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire~ Fall 2009

Minimum Grade Point Average and Credit Requirements:

2.0 cumulative grade point average is the minimum requirement for admission.

A student must have a minimum of 30 semester credits with a 2.0 cumulative GPA. 29 or fewer credits must meet the freshman admission requirements (see current catalog).

It is recommended that the student has successfully completed the equivalent of UW-Eau Claire's English composition requirement and the equivalent of UW-Eau Claire's Math 110.

This grade point average is the minimum for consideration and does not guarantee admission. In some cases, the grade point average may be acceptable for admission to the institution without guaranteeing admission to the major.

All UW System institutions have Guaranteed Transfer agreements with the UW Colleges. Students admitted under these agreements should follow the requirements of the agreement. The stipulations of these agreements are not included in this listing.
