International Students
Students from a country other than the United States of America will be considered international students by University of Wisconsin System (UWS) institutions. Each year students from over 100 countries are welcomed into UW System campus communities. Generally an international student applying for admission as an undergraduate must demonstrate strong academic potential, be proficient in the English language and document adequate funds necessary to meet the expenses of a University of Wisconsin System institution and other expenses necessary to live and study in the United States.
In order to assure full consideration for admission, students should apply well in advance of the semester they hope to begin studies at a University of Wisconsin System institution.
